Inhale. Exhale. God is good.

I was very grateful to report to the small group tonight that God has answered a prayer for me this week!
Last week I was going to meet with the girls mom, finally this week on tuesday we actually got to see each other and talk. I was almost dreading it, hoping that she wasn't going to drag out the goodbyes because I didn't know if I was going to be leaving or not. Anyways, she told me that she was very sad to hear about my job situation, but had an offer. She asked me if I'd stay later wednesdays to cook dinner and feed the girls and drive them to church, and pick up the girls from school every friday. For $50 extra a week.
Thank. You. God.
That was all Him because He is so faithful to those who love Him. God didn't even HAVE to do that, but He did and I am so grateful. I could weep at His feet and thank Him over and over again for the comfort it is that I don't have to leave this wonderful family.
Next thing on the prayer list is finding more hours. Hopefully I will find that soon whether it be with another family in the mornings, some odd job, or perhaps even an extra kid coming over to the girls house. Whatever happens God is still good - He has been through the whole process.

Thursday nights are now declared as Tommy and Kay date night where we get to spend the evening together after he gets home from work and we can do non-homework type stuff. (Most of the time at least)
Tomorrow night I think we're going to make dinner, maybe soup. I'm feeling soupy.
Maybe we'll take a walk, and come back and play around with some vellum paper and make some cool wineglass lampshades as wedding decor. We're just plain going to spend time together and enjoy it.
I can't express how ready I am for a night that we don't have to do homework, we can just have a good time together.

Friday is my soon-to-be-mother-in-laws birthday!! I've been thinking about/looking at what to get her. I love presents, especially giving them to people. It's so exciting to see them open it up!
Saturday, Thomas and I are going to the girls' soccer game! It's going to be a lot of fun to watch all these little 8 year olds run down the field in a big clump trying to kick the ball in the goal. Gotta love soccer!

Well, it's wednesday night, I'm tired, and wishing that I had some rain to fall asleep to. Yawning already, it's time to read my bible and pray, then go to bed.
