27. Waking up to a new day, with rain.

31. God's provision on my life. 






I love rain, you know, most people don't like rain and I don't understand why. Don't get me wrong, I love a good sunny day as well but I absolutely love a good rain. I like for it to rain all day with clouds and no sunshine whatsoever, that's how I like my rainy days. I don't like it when it switches back to sunny and raining again. I also like for it to rain at least two days, more than that is good too. 
Every time it rains I feel like it's the perfect picture of life's slate being wiped clean, much like how our beautiful Savior does that to my slate every day. It's relaxing, it helps everyone slow down, it makes me feel homey in my warm clothes with my hands wrapped around a coffee cup.
Plain and simple, I love rain.




I cannot wait until tomorrow around lunchtime because Sarah Hayes is coming to visit me! I have not seen this wonderful best friend of mine for what seems like eternity and it will be awesome to spend some good time with her. We will probably do some really fun wedding stuff, which is what I need after having to deal with all of this not-fun wedding figuring out. 
God has eased my mind, and filled up my heart and spirit, and I am no longer worried about all of those trivial things. :)
