Kings Keep

It's interesting to see what doors you think God is opening in your life, that can be shut so quickly, reopened, and shut once again. However now I'm beginning to think that it really wasn't God opening doors, they were just the doors in that long hallway leading to me to THE door that God really has for me. 

Yesterday morning I interviewed with Kings Keep for a job, and it sounded like exactly the kind of place I'd like to work. I was let down because they didn't have the hours I needed, and so I decided to give it some more thought before I let them know. Well, they called me this morning and told me they could give me more solid hours every week, working every day. That's when I thought, maybe this is God's blessing for me!!! I asked if I could call them back today with my answer. Well, only 10 minutes later they called back and had already gotten someone else for the job that they needed filled tomorrow. ugh. 

Back to square one. 

A wasted phone call about nothing to Thomas before his test this morning. 

But God is still with me, and I need not fall away from his trusting and loving arms when something so little like this happens to me.
