God is my shephard I won't be wanting

He makes me rest in fields of green by quiet streams

Even though I walk through the valley of death and dying

I will not fear cause you are with me, you are with me

Your shephards staff comforts me

You are my feast in the presence of enemies

Surely goodness will follow me, follow me

In the house of God forever

All that I have gained, I count it as loss. Now I'm learning that I don't want it back. There should be nothing I want apart from You. Forgive me of my sins and help me to take up my cross every second. Because lets face it, I am so corrupt that I have to take life one second at a time.

Who am I to think I know best? To long for things and people that are simply not.... You. And You alone. I want to be in the House of God Forever. The tears I shed are not compared to yours when your heart truly breaks for your people, and mine simply for my own life. Show me to love, to love unconditionally, to see through Your eyes, and love through Your heart.

This is the cry of my soul.
